TRANSIT notes that the proposed Malacca monorail, a 1.5 km, elevated line from Taman Rempah to Hang Tuah, is almost ready for operations.

The gaps in the track have been completed and the badly-placed rails have been removed and replaced.

With only 3 carriages, we wonder how it is supposed to carry the planned 80 passengers.

We have to wonder what the ADUN and people of Malacca will think of the monorail that they actually got as compared to the monorail that was proposed.

I assume that the monorail undercarriage has not been fitted when the photo was taken. Its boxiness does make it look like something out of a Chinese joss paper shop though.

retorfit the monorail like walt disney one lah
at least it form some sort of function as transit system,
or the LRT in singapore also come to mind,it slow n small,n when 1st launch, break a lot…
