2) Article: Scomi sends first Mumbai Monorail car to India (the Star) – The first monorail car for the Mumbai Monorail project left its manufacturing facility in Malaysia for India last Saturday.
Scomi Engineering Bhd and its consortium partner Larsen & Toubro had secured the RM1.846bil Mumbai Monorail project in November 2008 and were given 30 months to complete the first monorail project in India, in which Scomi had to deliver 60 cars for 15 sets of four-car trains.

7) Article: Prasarana: LRT noise level permissible (Malay Mail) – Comments from Prasarana indicating that their trains operate at 75 dB, however Ministry of the Environment regulations are 60 decibel A from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm and 50 decibel A from 7:00 pm – 10:00 am. Apparently the different decibel types refer to different types of noise.

10) Article: Taxi drivers and owners should have KPIs: Rais (Malay Mail) – Minister of Arts, Communication and Culture Dr. Rais Yatim (who is also an advisor to the Malaysian Taxi Drivers and Taxi-Limousine and Hired Car Operators Association – Petekma) says that a KPI system is necessary to see improvements in service.
