TRANSIT will be attending the Sustainable Urban Transport Integration Conference, which will be held on 12-13 May 2010 in Kuala Lumpur.

According to Dr. Hussein S. Lidasan, Transport Economist, National Centre for Transportation Studies, University of the Philippines in Diliman,
‘People tend to perceive congestion as the main cause of urban transportation problems. However, traffic congestion is not the root but rather the manifestation of the intertwining technical and institutional problems affecting urban transportation.’
This will be the 2nd time that TRANSIT has attended the conference.
