TRANSIT took note of this advertisement calling for interested candidates for the position of “stewardess” for the new ETS between Seremban-KL-Ipoh.
Interviews will take place on December 15, the same day as the Handover Ceremony for the ETS trainset, at Kuala Lumpur station.

TRANSIT encourages interested parties to apply for the position advertised.
Just so you know, we prefer “Coach Attendant” to “stewardess” (an outdated and anachronistic term) and we prefer that our “Coach Attendants” have a wonderful personality and enthusiasm for trains. Also, the “Attendant” must be well-trained to deal with crisis and well-informed about the train service, public transport and both cities.
Male or female, it should not matter…right?
