Moaz from TRANSIT was planning to meet his wife for dinner in SS2, Petaling Jaya, so he stopped at Taman Bahagia LRT station instead of Kelana Jaya.
As he was exiting the fare-paid area, he noticed some new fare gates placed in the LRT station. He recorded a few photos on his camera phone and sent them to us.
According to someone at the station, the new fare gates are for Touch ‘n’ Go use only and were designed in-house by RapidKL, saving them money as compared to an outside tender.
Which sounds pretty good, overall. TRANSIT hopes to get more info from RapidKL about the new fare gates, and we will update you when we receive it.
