KUALA LUMPUR: To celebrate 125 years anniversary of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB), Pos Malaysia will be selling first day covers, stamps and other collectibles on Tuesday.
Pos Malaysia head of stamps and philately officer, Yasmin Ramli, said there will be more than a million collectibles on sale that day.
“Pos Malaysia is very proud to be joining KTMB in its anniversary celebrations. The stamps will be available at post offices nationwide,” she said at a Press conference at KTMB headquarters here this morning.
“Stamp enthusiasts and those interested in preordering the stamps are advised to join the SODA (Standing Order Deposit Account) at http://www.posonline.com.my.”
The stamps features highly detailed drawings of KTMB trains from the very first FMSR Class T to the highly advanced ETS. Stamps are priced from 30 sen and collectors can purchase the complete set of stamps for RM50.20.
